Iran's defense ministry to build heavy fighters

Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said that the Iranian defense ministry plans to build heavy fighter aircrafts.

Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said “reinforcing the air force is among the main priorities of the defense ministry.”

Asserting that a large part of the program submitted to the parliament concerns reinforcing the Iranian air force he added “we will hopefully take good measures to build a powerful air force.”

“The Islamic republic of Iran intends to increase its defensive powers and will not negotiate it,” he concluded.
